An Introduction

The first post, an exercise in inner dialog spilling out of my brain and onto this Blog:

My name is Natalia and I'm a self-proclaimed beauty addict.  Yes, I'm a twenty-two year old girl who likes clothing, shoes and accessories.  Yes, I enjoy cooking, reading, and a nice cocktail.  I'm particularly fond of Coldplay, the Killers and Adelle.  But starting about two years ago I've had one unquenchable obsession with all things beauty related.  I'm a self proclaimed (although ask anyone I'm close with and they will vouch) product junkie. 

Now I'm not going to spend my time on this blog trying to make up for the glaring superficiality of my chosen blog topic.  Makeup and beauty related products are specifically crafted to make our outward appearance, well, more appealing.  But its not just about looking better.  It's about feeling better and translating that feeling into your everyday life and making it a positive impact on your day, year, and ultimately your life.  My outlook on makeup has never been to alter my entire entire appearance within an inch of being unrecognizable.  I'm about fresh enhancement, that "glow about you". No, not the gestational one.  The one that makes people ask if you've recently been on vacation, fell in love, or found a twenty in the washing machine (love that).

Throughout the evolution of the blog I plan on reviewing products I've just purchased and products I've used for years.  I plan on posting videos on hauls, tutorials, reviews and whatever else falls out of my mouth.  I plan on featuring things I love from other blogs and sites.  I plan on learning more about myself and my growing affinity for all things beauty.   

I would leave with some sort of sign off tagline but I have yet to think of one...oh and no ones listening :)
